A Purpose Driven Life – I’ve Been Wanting To Post This For A Long Time Now

A purpose driven life is one that is on FIRE with passion for the things that count the most.

This post is about my personal mission that I have around my business, it’s about building something SO massive and incredible that one can only point that it was God that created something like this.

It’s not about me building a business — it’s about allowing God to direct the ship that will bless many and use me in a way that has never been seen before.

If you want to know someone who truly lived a purpose driven life then I’d like to share this story with you.

A year ago I found this incredible young man on You Tube and since finding him I will never go past another Christmas Day without thinking about him.

His story is very sad so prepare to get some tissues while you read and watch all of this. However it really truly is an inspiration to all of us to actually live out the life we were created for.

If you haven’t figured it out yet but YourCreativeBiz.com is more than creating an income and running a business.

It’s also about doing what you love, using the creativity you were given, living in your purpose in this life and hitting the ground running so you can bless others with your business.

The internet levels the playing field for us, you don’t need to get a business loan, save up for years or buy expensive store fronts any longer ….. at all.  I know just how expensive these things are to have a business and I did it all without a business loan and without going into debt at all, ever.  But there’s no need, that’s really the hard way, I want to help show you not necessarily an easy way but an exciting way you can make a serious impact.

You can have an income completely online and pursue the life you were called to live.  I’m so thankful that God created me in this day and age, this exact time and place for my own story to share.

Sharing your story with the world is incredibly easy to do and you know what?

Your life counts, God made you so very special that no one else can fulfill what He has placed you here for.

I’d like to introduce you to Ben Breedlove, a 17 year old kid that inspired and also solidified my own purpose in this life.

Right when I found Ben I was having to write out my homework for the course I was doing at church called Faith Works.  At the end of finishing Year 1 I received a certificate, a bible and a personal note from Pastor John & Pastor Helen.  It brought me to tears to know that they were proud of my accomplishment.

Getting back to my Faith Works homework, I was forever changed (and I thought I was changed by my daughter going through cancer twice) after watching Ben’s story.

Mostly inspired that this was his very last message to the world. Ben passed away on December 25th, 2011 just 4 days after posting his Part 1 & Part 2 videos.

I’ve thought about him often in the last year and I hope it inspires you to start living the life you are meant to live right now, today.

Here’s what I wrote in my homework….

There is a moment in my life when my baby girl Tori went into transplant.

The night before a young teenage girl passed away, I remember looking at Tori sleeping on the bed and felt eternity so close to me, it just completely overwhelmed my spirit, my soul and my body.

I was completely immersed in the realization that not only was God with us in that moment but that God required so much more of me in my life.

It was about recognizing that it was time to let Him use me for His purposes and not allow the world to organize my thoughts or my path.

I truly feel compelled to bring others to Heaven with me, it is completely a part of everything that I do now.

I am so thankful for eternity, for God and how He helps direct our lives.

Matthew 28: 19 talks about sharing the good news with the world.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

There is nothing that will ever stop me from sharing about Him.

I’d like to leave you with this video of this dear boy, I found him just after Christmas last year.

I was browsing You Tube and he started telling his story about his heart condition.

He was 17 years old and had some very close calls and almost died a few times.

As he was sharing you can sense the peace that he had, the video itself was loaded just a few days or so before Christmas 2011.

At the end of the video he asked if you believe in God and angels and that he did.

The video was loaded December 18th, 2011 and Ben passed away Christmas day.

All I could think about is that this amazing teenage boy talked about the peace he felt and how proud of himself he was.

It makes me think of when God will tell us how good and faithful we were.

I think about how amazing it is that his videos have been viewed a gazillion times, it’s truly what motivates me to spread the news of Jesus, that and my own experience with Tori.

We have a serious mission to bring people along with us, I know my purpose and I know what God requires of me.

I would like to now introduce you to Ben Breedlove, one amazing boy with a spirit that was here to make a difference, a purpose and a true inspiration to live life to the fullest. A true example of someone who left a legacy by showing us his heart and a purpose driven life.

Here’s the last of my Faith Works Homework….

His sister spoke about the peace that he felt when he left earth, how the most peaceful place he could find was sitting on the dock at the lake at night. It`s the only thing that could come close to the peace that he felt.

Amazing that he loaded that video right before he died and went to Heaven, I hope to inspire others to live life to the fullest and inspire them to crusade for Christ like Ben has inspired me.

Before starting Faith Works I purchased the book, “The Purpose Driven Life.” I documented each day and I look forward to starting it again in January 2013. I truly wanted to life a purpose driven life.

I haven’t read what I wrote for a year now so I’m curious to read it again but I will wait until I finish up this year’s.  I know it will be different and neat to read when I’m done, like a little gift to myself.

 

  This is a picture of the beautiful basket I have laid out on my living room coffee table.

Inside it there are some Christmas bows, the book, a pen and some lined cards to write out any immediate thoughts I may have while I’m reading.

I’m laying out a solid foundation as I go into the new year of 2013 so that I can make a real difference for many with my business.
